Book Journal Entry // Beneath the Surface by Becca Steele & C Lymari

I got to read this one as an ARC. I know Becca Steele and C Lymari have written together before but this was my first one with C Lymari. I have their others on my TBR but who knows when I’ll actually get to them.

MY REVIEW: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Amazing start to a new series…

During an end of the semester party on the lake things take an unexpected turn. Grayson – the hockey team captain, Micah – the team photographer, and Ava – the figure skater – see something so shocking it leaves them questioning what really happened. And Cruz – the campus bad boy – was there to witness it all. It’s a night they’ll never forget but wish they could.

Now they’re back on campus but it looks like someone out there knows their secret. And that someone is messing with them with no apparent plans to stop. It leaves them wondering just how far they’ll take things.

As they work together to try and figure who’s behind this new threat and what exactly they saw, their whole dynamic starts to shift. There’s a love/hate and push/pull feel to their evolving relationships with each other and as a whole unit. Tensions and emotions are building and so is the chemistry.

Be prepared for a cliffhanger that will leave you checking on that release date for book two. This was a fantastic way to start a new series. It was a great read and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
