Book Journal Entry // May 2026 Reading Log

This was so much fun to do! I’ve done a few monthly sleep tracking logs this year but not a log for reading. This came about because of a custom order request from one of my Calypso Creative Planning customers. She’s purchased a few of my book journals before so this time around she had a plan and knew exactly what she wanted. And one of those things was a reading log each month like what I had shown for my sleep logs. So for May I grabbed the reading log page from this new Dark Gothic Romance Book Journal and put it in my current book journal so I could try it out. Now I’m hooked and totally plan to do it again for June.

And yes, it is color coded just in case you were wondering.

• The gold color is for audiobook listening. I usually do that while working at my desk or doing things around the house.
• The purple color is for multi-task reading. That’s when I pick up my book to read but other things are happening too, like also watching a movie/show or chilling with the hubby.
• The pink color is for actual designated reading time. Like that’s what I’m there for and focused on.
